I just like the structure. We all start with same amount so seems more of a challenge.

Hi all,
I have always been a tournament player, playing live games at the casino, I feel there is a bit more tack and not so much gambling. I sometimes play ring games for a short time, after a bad beat in a tournament.I use to love sit,n.go 6 handed but there are times where at least 1 or 2 players sit out for the whole duration and its annoying when there are 4 players left and 1 or two are sitting out.
I suggest thet players that sit out for a given time should place a small blind every hand.

Tournaments usually produce more realistic hands. Ring games often generate hands that seem manipulated or pre-designed, not believably random.
Ring games are not as lengthy, If Ya dont like who You’re playing with You can leave & I do!
I like Ring Games the best, I also like a 4 player format, sometimes it takes so long with more players.
I like ring games…I feel like the ringmaster trying to tame the lions that seek to destroy you…lol
The MTT’s are better than the ring games in my opinion. The ring games just seem more likely to have people trying to buy pots…for obvious reasons.

Tournaments are brisker and it is easier to read. Ring games are slow and full of punks that bet out a one bet no matter what kind of crap they have in their hands. Tink. Tink… tink…
several different games, and many choices of stakes.
In ring games you can choose your table and position. I also have lots of notes on the Villans which gives me some ideas about their playing styles. You can also pick the amount you want to play within certain limits. You can leave at any time or sit out to make a drink after a bad beat!
I like the the MTT tournaments because it consists of a reasonably constant table size, and people have a mostly equal starting stack.
Like the grind.

MTT players just seem more friendly. I tried SNG and don’t have the patience to wait for the table to fill. MTTs have a set time and I don’t forget to show up… I enjoy chat with a lot of the same players who are my friends. I tried Ring Games and got tired of loosing all my chips!! Freeroll tournaments are my games. Where else can an old lady make friends with nice people from all over the world for FREE!!
people seem to play a tiny bet better poker in tourneys, not quite as much bingo. still a LOT of bingo either way.
