Hi,

I am a software developer, specialising in educational software to teach kids to read. I am, and have been for yonks, a keen chess player, but decided to give it a break for a while and try poker for a bit.

I’m totally new to the game as it is being played here and I find it fascinating! I’m pretty much a novice, although I do seem to slowly increase my meager stack most days (except sometimes)

I would like to master the basics and then give it a good go. Any and all help and advice is welcome.
