WW Omaha Hi/Lo Open
Bullseye. Robin Hood did some fancy shooting in his day but tonight 11 Wildhorse’s took their shots. Omaha Hi Lo a game for gunslingers and fast horses trying to keep @_Rain for breaking the WIldhorse quarterly wins record. One by one however we fell by the side @Floppasaurus in 6th, Wayne @WS66 in 5th, @southwestmba in 4th, @gunslinger13 hitting the chips in 3rd, and @_snowman trying to save his record in 2nd, but for the second night in a row @_Rain was up to the challange and won for a record setting 15th time this quarter (a short quarter at that). Great game. for the final 7pm game of the quarter.

This was the 5th Omaha HiLo win for @southwestmba this quarter hard to top a score like that in best 4 (though Michael was pretty close).
Big Congrats Andy. Well played 13…Look forward to one TOC for me, and then we start the next quarter. Fun times.

Another quarter has come to a close and with that I give a huge congratulations to Michael (aka, @_Rain ) on winning the Overall, Morning, and Evening points Championships, as well as the Overall and Evening Knockouts Championships. Yours truly kept him from sweeping all championships by winning the Morning Knockouts Championship. Well done Michael.

Looking forward to 2025
I would like to recognize some other leaders this quarter. Michael ran over the competition for overall honors, but some others led the league in each individual game type and time slots. Well done to these leaders.
What a better way to start the new year than with a celebration of the past quarter’s champions. 15 players who earned a spot with a hard fought win and now winner take all for the roses. We got to honor two players here in spirit Whitney @Weedwoman420 and Carl @dreamer2023 champions on a much more important mission to get Whitney back to full health. The game was strategic. In a Winner Take All you have to survive to put yourself in a position to win. @Sue13 battled hard for 5th, Current champion @_Rain gambled hard and fate gave him 4th, @Slowpoke-r took his time and won some huge pots for 3rd, and @_snowman well he played like a RPOS League of Legends champion does for 2nd, but the card found @southwestmba at the end the key hand a two pair on a flush board and two courageous players trying to made a play with Aces. Lets just say my first win of 2025 will be a memorable one. Happy New Year Wildhorses.

Wildhorses PM Tournament of Champions Winner Take All. 10 champions toed the line for a chance at greatness.

10 champions battled, after one hour 4 players remained. @Floppasaurus screamed I’ve got ACES HIGH. and finished 4th, @_Rain screamed RUN TO THE HILLS and finished 3rd @Snownan and @southwestmba they had a major case of DEJA VU and after a much long battle @southwestmba found the tape for the win by a nose. Rock On WIld Horses!

Black Beauty: His Grooms and Companions, the Autobiography of a Horse is an 1877 novel by English author Anna Sewell. It was written from a horse as main character’s perspective. She wrote it in the last years of her life, during which she was bedridden and seriously ill.
The story is narrated in the first person as an autobiographical memoir told by the titular horse named Black Beauty—beginning with his carefree days as a foal on an English farm with his mother, to his difficult life pulling cabs in London, to his happy retirement in the country. Along the way, he meets with many hardships and recounts many tales of cruelty and kindness.
To start a new quarter what more fitting a game than Texas Hold’em and more fitting name than Black Beauty. The game started slowly the competitors slowly feeling the pulse of the action but once we moved to the final table it was a mad sprint. @Excaliburns and @southwestmba battled head to head for 41 hands watching first one player come back and then the other. At one point @Excaliburns was down to his final card but he found his King on the river to square the match and eventually pull away for the win. @southwestmba settled for 2nd despite not scoring a single bounty. This was mainly because @Floppasaurus gobbled up most of them finishing third. And they’re off the 1Q25 is underway.

In the SeaBiscuit NL Hold’em tournament this morning, 14 players fought for the title and bragging rights. Early on, Floppasaurus set the tone, going all-in aggressively and applying relentless pressure to the field. He surged ahead, collecting bounties as he knocked out opponents, eventually making it to the final three alongside Sue13, a steady, no-frills player, and abahog, known for his bold, fearless betting style. After abahog was eliminated in third, the stage was set for a heads-up showdown between Sue13 and Floppasaurus, with Floppasaurus holding a commanding 60K chip stack compared to Sue13’s 8K.
Floppasaurus continued to play aggressively, trying to run over Sue13 with big bets and all-ins. However, Sue13’s strategic play and well-timed calls allowed her to slowly chip away at Floppasaurus’ stack. In the end, it was Sue13 who emerged victorious, outlasting the bully of the tournament to claim the win. As a consolation, Floppasaurus walked away with a staggering 29,600 bounty chips, having knocked out half the field.
Polar vortexes the kind of weather Pilgrims braved. It was a Royale game. We saw everything but a Royale Flush at my table but the action was non stop. Chips come then chips go and then they come back. @southwestmba found the straights sometimes are the best between Carl’s (@dreamer2023) flurry of quads for 2nd and Norris the @_snowman huge bets for 3rd. Royal isn’t my favorite game but when you play with friends it can be a blast.
