I know it would be a lot of work but your tech bunch are special so an idea for the future may be to feature guest tournaments. Just to start the train of thought I suggest… Kentucky Derby day featuring Horse… St Patrick’s day featuring Irish Poker or Anzac Day featuring Southern cross.
(was gonna add April Fools featuring Bingo but we got that covered. hehe)
Razz pls! Stud will be nice though too
I’m with M_420_420 BADUGI is very fun! 3 rounds trying to get lowest low hand but with a twist ! You must have 1 of each suite !!
It would be nice to see some new games on here 5 card stud I prefer anything new would be a great start so I’m for it
Would like to see an app for android tablets so I can play when I use my tablet.
Razz and Badugi are my two favorites. When I’m not playing here I’m playing one or the other on *****. (Replay didn’t censor me. Seemed like bad form to mention another site so I ****'d the other sites name myself.)
Both of these games put heavier premium on skill, so you don’t have to suffer bingo players as long.
how about ALL OR NOTHING?
the tourneys always have such a BIG stack at the end…let the player go home with ALL he has won???
games are too slow u need speed it up
Do you mean on the technical side of the site or the players ?
I think that seven-card stud would be nice, because the rules are quite simple to pick up. Not sure, but i heard that before nl holdem boom stud was the most popular poker game.
I think that you should also consider removing nl omaha, and leave only pot limit version, at least for a tournament format.
No option for 5-card stud? Hmmm…
I used to run a partners tournament in my card room and it was very popular. I am not sure if it could be adapted for this site. Would need imput from techs in that regard. I also think to accommodate all levels of players it might be best to have 3 separate tournaments. The first could be for newer players. Their combined ratings could not be below 100,000 points.
A tourney for mid level players could be restricted to players with a combined rating not to exceed 100,000 or be below 20,000 pts.
A tourney for advanced players. Combined ratings not to exceed 20,000 and not below 5,000
Players pick their own partners and sign up together , or site can place singles that want to play and have no partner, as long as there is someone available that will work point wise.
Player #1 of team plays No Limit Holdem during his round. His partner plays Omaha Hi-Lo. Rounds could be about 40 minutes followed by a 10 minute break. During the break all #1 players leave table and all #2 players take their partners seat for the second round. If a player busts out during round 1 his team is not out of tourney, he has lost his initial chips, but second round players start with the same amount as round one started with. Players in round 1 retain thier chips for round 3. If a player in round 2 busts out, team is not out yet unless his partner also busted out in round one. If both busted out, then team is out. At the beginning of round 3 all of player no. 2’s chips are added to player no. 1’s and from the start of round 3 any player that busts out puts the team out. Each new round partners take thier partners seats and play continues as in any tournament except for the game changing each round too.
I would suggest no antes until start of third round. Blinds can be set depending on the approximate time you would prefer tourney to end. Entry fees and payouts to be determined by site.
