What does Bingo mean in poker

So I guess constant all-in just to see if something ‘sticks’ is okay with you…

It’s OK with me if someone I’m playing against uses that strategy. Most of the time (not all of the time - but poker is not a game of “all of the time,”) I’m going to get paid.

There are a few players I know by name (not naming because I’m not calling them out) that when I see them at a table, I just KNOW someone is eventually going to get paid. Just hoping it’s me!

If playing that way makes them happy, so be it. Usually someone else ends up happy, too. Y’know - spreadin’ the love and all that jazz.

They get paid by me regardless of style. I am surprised that I have as much as I do. I get my stupid days and my good days. I play all in for shorts periods. Then I fold a couple of times, then move on. I am not going to tell people how to play.

@BPuppyMonkey great post, every player owns their chips, If somebody goes all in every player has a choice - call, fold or raise and when you google bingo and poker its not up there in the ranking of search terms.

I did not read any of the replies, so this may be redundant. When you are use “play” money, you have nothing to lose to just over bet right from the start. It does irritate many players this way. Like Bingo, NO BETTING SKILL OR STRATEGY NEEDED.

It’s a name the passive fish call you because they can’t employ their own “limp ATC and hope they hit” strategy (which is actually closer to bingo than playing loose aggressive poker is).

The passive fish relies solely on luck and other fish paying them off when they hit (a player with half a brain won’t pay them off when they bet big unless it’s a total cooler), a donkey/maniac can at least win pots by bluffing and when they hit the flop hard they’re more likely to get paid off because they’re stabbing at lots of pots (people think they’re bluffing a lot which they are but not 100% of the time).

Some people play their best game purely for fun whilst enjoying a relaxing experience and the fun of participating in something they enjoy

Some people play their game with an over obsessive competitive nature to the extent that when they loose or are in the process of loosing for them they choose to chastise their competitors and the fun aspect of the game is lost to them

each to their own but its likely one will live longer

I don’t let anyone come in between my enjoyment for the game, too many other important things to worry about. When it gets to the point of a non enjoyable table I just leave. You can have the chips , I got plenty…
