I would love to see a dedicated section where people could post tips, tricks, and strategies, both for tournament play and ring games. I think it would add value to the forum, help new players, and stimulate some interesting conversations.

We agree! Feel free to post your tips to General Poker Chat – I think it’d be the perfect place to get into strategy, online or off.

There are too many “This Site is Rigged,” and “I’m Offended,” and “Bad Beat” threads in that section. I, for one, don’t want to mine 2 tons of ore to find my ounce of gold.
Anyway, it was just a suggestion, and one that would benefit both sites. Do with it as you will.

And now General Poker Chat is disabled??? Now what? I have outside the box strategy point I want to post and don’t know where to put it.
Put it in the Poker Strategy section.
It was changed because very few people use “poker chat” as a search term, and those few who do are probably looking for a chat, not a forum. Far more people search for “poker strategy.”
