The Bingo epidemic

Oh yeah, I have seen those but have never entered one.

Years ago when I didnā€™t have a lot of chips, I enjoyed playing the Bankroll Builder rebuys.
A nice feature was they had ā€œaddedā€ chips, I believe 20k bonus chips to the overall pot.
Itā€™s just a 500 chip buy in, while the rebuy (Bingo) period lasts the 1st three blind levels.
My strategy in those was I knew Iā€™d probably rebuy several times, but it was really cheap.
I knew Iā€™d be going all in preflop several times during the rebuy, hoping to get into decent position with like 10k chips by the time the rebuy was over, then after the break the ā€œrealā€ game would start.
It was a hoot having several bingo all ins preflop with possibly several players in the showdown. Hopefully Iā€™d hit nicely sometime during the rebuy, perhaps more than once, then be ready to roll once the real action started.
These days I would enjoy playing an unlimited rebuy, but it would have to be for a lot more, like at least 50k to buy in and rebuy.
Have a nice day.

Very well said, Itā€™s a very important part of the learning stages of the games

Getting worse everyday. Place is really not fun anymore because of them, sadly.

Howie,

I can definitely empathize, butā€¦

Guru might have a pointā€¦

Maybe itā€™s time for a change of stakes. Could be that the quantity of ā€œbingoā€ players in those tournaments is cyclic and it is at a high point right now. Maybe not. I would not expect quality play on those freerolls. The few that I have played all seemed to be limp fests and/or shove fests. Pretty much exactly as I expected. I avoid them myself. Just my 2 cents worthā€¦
Cheers!
