The Team Play Poker League - quietly doing our thing

In our 4 different TPP Team competitions we currently have a different team leading each. This would have to be the most competitive, toughest, fairest competition in Replay, imho, just sayin
On any day, anyone of our 7 teams is capable of winning.

If you’re looking for tight, tenacious competition, Team Play Poker is where you’ll find it.
Today’s game summary summarizes our League, and guess what, we also have a great time

"Another very close hard fought Team of The Week.

The Top 10 and final table contained 3 Gravy Train (rustyblade, FranklyI and oOoCLSoOo) , 3 Soul Mates (the original Soul Sisters rosie2, mysweet and ladybes), 2 Tramps (SaratogaTom and chuckcox), 1 Bandit (SILVERTHECAT) and 1 Globetrotter (xxc63).

Now here’s what I love about our scoring system. Our system takes into account the performance of every single member of the team, so the TEAM that performs the best overall wins, not the team with the most players at the top at the finish, although that helps.

The best Team today and our winners, only just, are the Soul Mates. Yeehaa well done the Mates. They didn’t win without a huge fight from the Tramps who finished less that 1 point in arrears.

The individual winner was XXC63 over SaratogaTom. Great effort you 2 and everyone else on the final table".

This quarter, 3 TPP Players will win an extra 1 million chips

For over seven years on Replay, TPP has been the #1 league for Team Poker. But what exactly, is team poker?

Ask those who play it, and the answers you’ll get are ‘addictive’. ‘challenging’. ‘fun’. ‘deceptively simple’. And ‘my favorite game on replay’. So what is it?

Basically, it’s poker as you’ve always played it with a simple twist. You have teammates on the table. And WHO wins the pot is far less important than making sure YOU or one of YOUR teammates does. The strategy that comes along with it involves figuring out ways to help a shorter stacked teammate, reading the intentions behind your teammates bets and your opponents bets, and finding a path to eliminate opponents while keeping your teammates alive as long as possible. The further you and your teammates go, the more you win.

Just like regular poker, playing position is crucial. Unlike regular poker, folding what might be the best hand is a good play when it allows a shorter stacked mate to scoop the chips.

The final twist that makes team poker so much fun? The way most teams develop their playing style, how you come to understand each others’ bets, moves, and poker mindset. You win and lose as a team, and realize that making the final table yourself matters less than having your multiple teamies get there.
