Tables for ranked players 10,000 or better

Sharon is one of the best players on Replay, especially at SnGs.

I had 47,000 chips after my first day on Replay and 300,000 after a month of playing low stakes, so I don’t get how low stakes players can pretend like they know all of the games on this site or how they think there is no difference in skill level among players on this site. Playing 1000 hands and having to get lots of top ups at the bank is fine; it’s all for fun anyway, but that doesn’t mean that’s all there is to poker or this site.

No matter what system is used the fact is Replay poker is different to your normal casino type game,

You can state any amount of percentages, The fact that Replay gives a bonus for any Royal flush up to four, and almost every flop lines up a Straight ,Flush, or Better outlines the difference,

Most of the people who use Replay are nice people,Whilst I accept peplay has its faults, everyone who plays the site soon knows the pitfalls

Hehe, we’re not a casino, that should be expected. On the bright side, human error is an issue our dealer doesn’t compete with and you never have to worry about someone else’s cigarette smoke. =)

I respectfully disagree. Yes, it is different from a casino because the chips are free, and that affects how people play.

However, in hold’em (in any form) there is a 37% that there will be 3 cards of the same suit by the river. That means that there can be a flush more than 1/3 of the time.

There is 20% chance of having 3 consecutive cards by the river. When you consider that straights can be made on boards even without 3 consecutive cards, that makes for a lot of straights.

There is a 42% chance of the board pairing by the river (not counting double paired or three-of-a-kind), so that means a chance of a full house almost half of the time.

When you combine that with the way people play basically any hand since the chips are free, that leads to the kind of craziness you see on Replay. No limit hold’em is a crazy game.

We mostly prefer to enjoy with close friends , on special days like B’DAY/M’DAY etc.
I would like to utilise this opertunity ( though the subject is different )& requesting the POKER
to consider to provide a RESERVED TABLE for such member players , so that they enjoy well.
For example 4 members playing in 6 table ,when enter to play they may feel inconvenient.
So , other two places may be blocked.

Thanks for your replys, Let me point out my statement is not a dig at anyone or replay, like anyone else I am entitled to a opinion like any other player, and as such stand by that.

P.S Smoking is not allowed in Casinos in Britain

If there were tables only for the highest ranked players, some would simply buy enough chips to qualify for those tables.

This would be a positive reason (as far as Replay is concerned) to establish such tables, but would just be business as usual for the players.

What would be nice, however, is to run a series of 2 stage tournies. For example, run a series of qualifiers during the week, then have a special tournament on the weekend for the top 25 in each qualifier. This could be done with the ticket system that’s already in place, except you would only be allowed to register for the final with a ticket, no direct buyin allowed.

All of the entry chips for the qualifier series would be carried forward to the final; only tickets would be awarded in the qualifiers. This would make a nice prize pool for the final, and guarantee that only the best players would compete for that prize pool.

Absolutely! And thank you for sharing it.

Glad to hear smoking isn’t permitted! It’s one of the main reasons I avoid them locally – can’t stay inside for more than a few minutes before my respiratory system cashes out, hah.

I would like to present the total number of 5 card combinations (poker hands) in a deck of 52.

The first card is any of the 52 cards in the deck
the second card is any of the 51 " remaining
the third card is any of the 50 " "
the fourth card is any of the 49 " "
the fifth " " 48 " "

That factors out to 52 x 51 x 50 x 49 x 48 = 311,875,200 combinations
now of course many hands will be the same as far as rank however understanding the total number gives you an idea
as to the potential. For instance a Royal Flush is only possible once per suit. the remaining straight flushes
{Ace low 2 3 4 5} all the way up to [9 thru King} 9 possible x 4 suits = 36 total straight flushes
4 of a kind is easy to see A A A A (1 combination but the fifth card could be any of the 4 kings x 11 (Q down to 2) x 4 suits
A hand with 4 aces actually total 1 x 12 other ranks of cards x 4 suits = 48 possible combos of 4 aces
48 possible combinations of 4 kings
48 " 4 Queens etc so 48 x 13 different cards / suit
= 624 possibilities for a hand containing 4 of a kind It gets crazier as you descend in card ranks the possible
combinations for instance a pair of tens 10c 10s (2 black) 10d 10h (2 red)
10c 10d 10c 10h 10s 10d 10s 10h 6 possible combinations for a pair
3 of a kind has 4 different combinations so
a full house of Aces and Kings = 4 x 6 = 24 possible combinations of AAAKK
AAAQQ = 24 all the way down to AAA22 which accounts for the set of AAAover any of the pair combinations
by now you know I am crazy but I realize the enormous numbers involved.and it is good to know what we’re up against.
in a Hold’em poker game its much different because once each player gets dealt two cards the odds are diminished to the remaining cards dealt out.
In a Casino, a Texas Hold’em game with a table of 9 players equals
(9 x 2hole cards) + 3 burn cards ( 1 pre flop + 1 pre turn + 1 pre riveR) + 3 flop + 1 turn + 1 river = 26
18 + 3 + 5 = 26
that’s only half the deck. I need some sleep I hope I didn’t bore you to death. I did all this trying to determine the number of chances possible to win a jackpot. (they start at AAAover 10’s up to AAAKKK
Aces full of10’s or better ascending to the 4 of a kind combo’s the straight flushes and Royal Flushes and it’s comforting
to know that any of these almost impossible to get hands must have 2 dealt in the same hand using both of your hole
cards to qualify to win the big one…sorry to flatten your hopes on hitting a jackpot…however the possibility remains
in favor of the Casino : )

Dirk Nevada , the effort you made & the time you spent is highly appreciable.

Whenever I sit down at a brick and mortar table, I never know the true quality of each and every player. In theory, I probably have some low quality and high quality opponents facing me at the same time, and as we all know, it is the lower ones that help us pay for our mortgages, automobiles, etc. While it is aggravating playing against apparent fools, I feel its the nature of the game, and without them only the house would come out ahead.

hey I like.
