Stop Lotto All-In Play

I think nonotme might have the answer. After a person busts, you must either sit out for a given amount of time or move to another table. Although, i’m not sure this would be too easy to regulate. Unfortunatly there is no real easy answer to this long time problem. I have talked to several people and they have stopped playing here because of the all inners!! Wish i had the solution.

How about getting some kick system for example: A loto player going all-in all the time Lets say he goes all-in 5 times a row ( or 5 times withint 3 minutes or something) Its not real he gets 5 times good hand in a row to go all in. he gets ban for being able to play for 1 hour.

Just an example…

So we’ve been giving this issue a bit more though, an here’s what we came up with:

  1. We’re going to introduce new tables that are POT LIMIT pre-flop and NO LIMIT post flop, we hope these will attract more players than purely the pot limit or fixed limit tables.

  2. We’re going to start tracking all players stats to see how aggressive you really are, for example how often you go all in or heavy before the flop. Then we’re going to create a few NO LIMIT tables where players who are judged overly agressive will not be able to play on. That way new players always have a choice to play on a NL table without the fear of lotto players disrupting the game.

We were also thinking about creating a reputation system, where you can flag another player as a good or bad player. Then if a player’s reputation goes below a certain level they could get an automatic ban; OR if enough players at a table all give a player a red flag then that player could be removed from the table and not be allowed to return to it right away. This is perhaps the most difficult to implement and would need to be careful that it wasn’t abused. So we’ll give this some more thought and get more feedback from players on the site, before doing anything.

Finally!! I had requested that a year ago. It will be great for people like this dude who is now playing a NO LIMIT game and complains people play all ins which last I checked was MO LIMIT… I think it’s ridiculos to start tracking players who are quote “over aggressive” and flagging them and IMO even worse a REPUTATION system where 1 can chose whether they think a player is good or bad… That decision based on agression at a poker table is ludacris. Say a person leads out with a mid raise, the next player 3 bets, next 2 fold and then I am the next to act. I 4 bet and force the original raiser all in. That is not aggression that is being a smart poker player. I may have picked up he;s a tight player, only plays at certain table positions etc. So with me holding AA and his playing style he is forced to call with all his chips. #1 It’s not my problem if he is being forced all in & I shouldn’t sit at a table pondering a big 4 bet thinking I may be get a red flag from all users for winning by a good bet yet piss them off and the BS starts. Even worse if I am a above avg player and win alot by forcing people out of their comfort zone as in the above situation enough of those players can make sure I am exposed to the site and face things that no poker player should face and myself playing quite a few poker sites have never seen nor ever will. The idea of PL pre flop NL post flop is a great idea for a few tables and especially a tournament or two in order to build pot sizes and force action. All the other childish ideas s way over the top for just a few reasons I mentioned above and their are a lot more reasons for it to stay where it is now, not at the tables!!

Thanks for the feedback BIGPHIL. We had concerns ourselves about any sort of reputation system. As for the stats idea, that’s something we’re going to be implementing anyway (at least the stats part) it’s then simple to set certain restrictions if we choose so. The challenge of course is to to not do it in a way that affects the smart poker players, it’s an idea for now, but when we come to implement it, it may be, like you say, impossible to differentiate between the two groups. Obviously if that happens then we’ll go back to the drawing board. But it’s good to hear that everyone likes the idea of PL/NL tables - we’ll work on that idea first then.

Little nonotme agrees with BIGPHIL. No matter how and All-in Bet makes me question my two cards, even if they are AA.

Hello, i like this side but to many people go all in pre flop, i think that moderators should give a good example of how to play poker and not Bingo. I like to see some rule for this.
I spend about $100,- a month tp play here and this is starting to become a bit of a dissapointment to me. Maybye a rule with a max of 3 pre flop all inns would be a nice idea

Is there any way to have a table at each level and 1 tournament that is set up POT limit pre-flop and NO LIMIT post flop? This would increase action and increase the pot sizes. This format would favor the more skilled players and eliminate most pre flop all ins by the BINGO players. Anyone can go all in with a 7-2 off suit and get lucky, yet most would fold if they had to continue and play the same hand post flop. Good players can still 3bet, 4bet after the flop and push the action, I would just prefer to play POKER and weed out the donks who wish to play bingo. Those who can play poker would benefit from such a format…

now a rake system in place. Thets should help a bit

Chips are FREE; how do you spend $100/ month to play here?

I would like to try the PL pre-flop, NL post-flop tables. It may just work!

THIS LOTTO ALLIN PLAY HAS TO BE STOPPED!

RADICAL MEASURES NEED TO BE TAKEN! I am a play money pro and I am spending thousands of dollars on play money each month! The livelihood of me and my dog depends on this!

hm… if you suck, you have to buy play money, however ridiculous this may sound. That’s the only reason this site exists…

take advantage of these fish and pick your spots wisely

Use this too your advantage, you should be licking your lips at this not complaining, take advantage of these fish and pick your spots wisely.

Just do not allow more than 3 times the big blind preflop

I JUST FINISHED PLAYING ON A LOW STAKES??
TABLE WHERE TWO PLAYERS CONTINUOUSLY
WENT ALL IN ON POCKET DRAWS LIKE 7/3 OFF SUIT 2/3 OFF SUIT,OF COURSE THEIR WAGERS
WERE INTIMIDATING, AND HARD TO CHALLENGE. IT’S LIKE WATCHING WSOP ON
ESPN, EXCEPT THEY’RE PLAYING AGAINST
FIRST GRADERS. THE WORST PART IS THEY
TAKE THE CHIPS THEY WIN??? AND GO TO
ANOTHER TABLE. WHEN THEY NEED MORE
CHIPS THEY COME BACK. I’M JUST LEARNING
THE GAME. I ENJOY PLAYING WITH OTHERS
OF THE SAME SKILL LEVEL. I NEVER HAVE HAD ANY APPRECIATION FOR BULLIES AND I REALLY DON’T NOW. THERE HAS TO BE A
WAY TO POLICE THIS. I HAVE TO EARN MY WAY UP. WHY SHOULD THEY BE ALLOWED
TO TAKE ADVANTAGE???

I swear next time your comments will be deleted. I put your “problem” here this thread contain some answer/solution for your problem.

thats why theres no limit, maybe u should play pot limit

I had this happen with a moderator in the Sunday Millions tournament. 1955Wagon was playing bingo instead of poker. I expect that type of play from random morons, but not from people you choose to moderate the tables. This site doesn’t have me wanting to come back very much any more.
