SunPowerGuru, have not heard that version of 16 Tons…nice! I always liked Tennessee Ernie Ford but when I heard it done by Jeff Beck & Billy Gibbons, it took it to a new level. I attended the ZZ TOP concert here last night in Alabama. 1st concert since the passing of Dusty Hill. 16 Tons was played…enjoyed it and the concert, but it just wasn’t the same without the “Tres Hombres.” Jeff Beck and ZZ Top - Ernie Ford's SIXTEEN TONS - YouTube
Well it’s obvious I don’t know how to do visible links…even using the hyperlink button…
Don’t use the link button, just paste the URL into the text area.
Thank you…tried that but for some reason it didn’t show the preview, just the highlighted link. Oh well…may be this old Macbook…
RIP Dusty Hill. I was Blessed when I saw Jeff Beck and Stevie Ray Vaughn(May he be resting peacefully, as well, or at least how he had hoped to be)
He just smiled and gave me a Vegamite sammich.
Working Man by Rush. No Peart but classicly classic, none the less.
I just started another one so now there’s at least 193.
Maybe someone should start one for music that makes us cry or mentions crying.
Another one that sticks in the head when you here it.
