Sending PMs

Hi Litenin,
I did see that,

but there is no mention of how to contact a player rep. The inclusion of which was what I was suggesting in my last post:

and if you did not catch it before, Thank You for the time you spend helping others and answering questions. You and others like you are a big part of what makes this site so pleasant and enjoyable.

privet msg… are great… but i also like coadedmsg… and in de wondo msg…

I guess we gotta agree to disagree! I don’t like the idea personally of adding extra burden to the reps! I know in the past some friends can be annoying sending way too many PMs. I can’t imagine tolerating that being a rep from any random player!

Its a pretty simple hoop to jump though tho! Send a friend request and then PM till your heart is content.

You can also Add me i’m always willing to help you with your problems

I can’t see any reason not to be able to send a message to whomever i want to. Why do they have to be on my friends list? I accidently deleted a friend and i would have loved to been able tp PM her and explain it was accidental but couldn’t so now i have lost a friend??? Don’t say i could go to their table and explain thats not how i do things i think it should be a private conversation…don’t you?

Hi ColbyRoad,
I think the reason for not allowing open messaging is trolls and people who respond to a problem with harassment and abuse. In this case I believe that prevention is the best overall solution, it seems the staff agree. I am sorry you lost your friend, I would be willing to find them and try to explain your mistake to them for you if you would like. Take care and good luck at the tables. :slightly_smiling_face:

Hi Colby,
I do understand what you are saying, but there are many peop[e who come to Replay in order to play a quiet game of poker without any interruptions and as a form of relaxation. The PM system allows people who wish to chat and say hi at the tables to do so, but it also protects the ones who wish to remain anonymous. Both need equal respect.
I am sorry you have accidently deleted a friend, but all you have to do is send a new request and it can be accepted or rejected as they wish.
If I can help in any way , please send me a PM, as a MOD anyone can PM me :stuck_out_tongue:

i did send a new request but nada…its fine though no wories

@ColbyRoad

I think if you delete or remove a Friend, you can’t befriend them again without going through some kind of hoops. So, the nada may not be the reason.

I have a team in the barn yard mucker… it is a privet invite game … and have a skype room. chat… fore public announcements for the team… that is 6 players… also play 4 team pirates that is 25 players… sometimes is better to have a privet talk w/ one of your mates than make it public… tats were you make friend’s…

Thanks for the info. Truth be told most of the players on my friends list i never see after accepting their request,i think a lot of people send requests just to have a “friends list” lol.

Not important to me really…i have maybe 5 or 6 on my list that i consider “friends”

Its pretty ridiculous we can delete a friend with ONE click and no questions asked!

If you want to leave the table RP gives a survey to fill out!

Accidentally deleting a friend is frustrating, upsetting and unnerving.

This is a separate issue tho! I rarely want to send a PM to players that are not friends! I certainly dont want to delete friends accidentally tho!

I accidentally deleted a friend on my Sam Tablet bc it was lagging etc. Super frustrating.

Hi @ColbyRoad,

So sorry you accidentally deleted a friend. Please send us an email message at support@replaypoker.com if you want me to look into it.

It is possible that your friend still hasn’t seen the request. There are players who don’t have the notification turned on when they get new friend requests.

Hi @smooth99,

If a player rejected a friend request whether intentional or not, the system automatically puts a block to send another request, to avoid spam and harassment since we are a public site.

We understand mistakes happen, so if a friend request was accidentally rejected, this could be easily fixed by contacting us at support@replaypoker.com.

I hope the friend who deleted me and requested another “Friend Request” will see this and realize I actually did Accept his second request but it never went through.

Thanks for the clarification @chipsmama .
