Hey all – just wanted to give a quick update. The new look will be released to all players this week.
It will look the same as it has, but we will be rolling out a new version in the coming weeks that takes on board the feedback you’ve shared in this thread. The biggest change is related to the most common complaint we’ve received – that everything is too large. The next iteration will do a lot to improve that, and I hope that makes many of you a lot happier! It’s currently being tested by staff.
The performance issues that some of you have described, particularly @Sue13, have us stumped! I wish I had better news here. What makes it especially confusing is that we’ve gotten next to no tickets about it in support. I want to emphasize that this feedback is not being ignored – it definitely seems like something is going on based on what some of you have said in this thread – but we haven’t been able to pinpoint it. If you haven’t written into support yet (I know some of you have), I highly encourage you to do so, so we can see whether there are any commonalities based on OS, browser, etc. You can click the ? at the top of any page on Replay, or send an email to support@replaypoker.com
Thanks again for sharing your thoughts in this thread, and for how specific you’ve been about what you’d like to see. It’s helped us tweak the design quite a bit. Keep 'em coming – especially when we launch our new version.
I am guilty of writing here as well as sending messages to support. I have explained my problems, as well as thanked Replay for attempting to help us. I love coming here to spend time with my friends. Winning is fun, but not the most important thing in my life. Just losing a close friend on here should show us that it is the friendships that mean so much. So when you try to play a game with friends and you keep getting sat out, or it won’t let you bet, fold, or call, and it lags and freezes, it is as frustrating to play and impossible to visit with friends. I did pin a problem down and told them about it the last time I posted. There is a problem when you can play any league game with little problems, but if I go to the lobby to play a game like Royal, all heck breaks loose. The freezing will actually start when you try to enter the lobby and only gets worse. I will say that I have stayed away from there for a week now, which means I really miss my Royal friends. Thank you again for trying to fix everything, and I wish the best to all those who will experience the new look soon. Have fun everyone, and remember, it is just play chips, but the friends are real. :))
I received the new version today and I am unpleasantly disappointed. It looks like my little grandsons video game tablet. I don’t like the direction the site is going in as far as graphics and color
Sad, truly sad. Why people insist on changing things from good to bad is beyond me. This is just one more example of if it ain’t broke don’t try and fix it.
i think the new lay out is terrible, i liked the old one a lot better. useful buttons have been removed and the empty space is filled by making the remaining ones enormous.
the giant letters and change of letter type makes everything harder to read and games harder to find.
it looks messy, between games i minimalise the lobby because i find it annoying to look ak at.
there is nothing about the changes i like.
The most probable reason for the few tickets being submitted is because the members are using this thread in lieu of submitting their frustrations twice. I’ve assumed Support Staff has been following the comments from here.
Funny part is, I liked the larger font size but maybe just not as large. If you decide to return to the original font size that would be fine with me. I personally feel the new design has created all of the problems noted in this thread and should be corrected before a complete roll out to everyone.
Is there a reason why the roll out is being continued?
Well i got the so called “new” look today and it was a disaster, i tried to join a freeroll of which i couldn’t, i couldn’t get to a table and everything turned black. I finally put an ad blocker on to play a sit n go. Everything was fine until this change, not liking it all ! Please listen to the players and change back. Thanks.
