I now suspect you added this because you want my chips!
Suited canāt really matter much in Royal right? In most short deck games a flush beats a full house, so it might in that case (eg. where 2-5 are discarded). Replay doesnāt implement that rule though, and it would make no difference for Royal anyway, because the only possible flush is a royal flush.
I havenāt actually looked at the odds, but I would think your chances of making a flush are so low that suited vs offsuit makes basically no difference. You probably will win a stack every time when you do, but getting stacks in does not seem difficult in Royal anyway (in my very limited experience)
.
This is a good short guide to Royal:
I agree 100% Royals happen approximately 2-3 times per tournament, and most of them are in the muck because of not playing lower-level suited hands. I posted it in suggested true hierarchy, not the value in them as best playable hand; I said suited or not in my suggestions for winners for that reason in my advice area.
I am glad you started this topic.
This has been on my mind for the last few years.
I have an idea but did not want to seem like a complainer.
So, letās start with my #1
This team tournament should happen 2X a year.
I live in the Northern Hemisphere and devoting 7 Saturday afternoons @ 3:00PM (for me) during mid summer is absolutely absurd.
Honestly, mid afternoon summer Saturdays is a time when one wants to be ANYWHERE BUT sitting at a keyboard for an hour or two.
If it took place mid winter that would be great. Iām not one for the cold any longer.
Thank you for asking.
What say you all?
I work nights. Afternoons work great for me. I just have to set my alarm.
So, when was presenting an IDEA considered complaining?
This is a Forum which I always considered was a polite way to exchange ideas.
Really forgot to sign up. Thought it started Sept.
