Jenny, I am sure you are sick of all the sarcastic answers… but truth be told we are a community. A place to be with friends who often make us laugh, and occasionally cry. For a lot of us it is just a place to go where we can sometimes win, sometimes lose, but always feel safe and wanted. LONG LIVE REPLAY
Long live the King!..of spades.
I was a PokerStars multi-millionaire before they blocked all Washington State players (in response to an idiot filing a lawsuit over play-money poker. Washington is already the only world-wide jurisdiction that considers online gambling a felony, though nobody has ever been prosecuted). I was winning MTTs regularly.
Here, I find that (1) The players play at a higher skill level, and (2) The blind structures are more realistic. Simply being a tight player on PS would result in finishing in the money regularly because the blind structure was so slow you could sit back and watch the idiots take each other out. I once won a tournament in which I either lost or folded my first 31 hands.
Here, you can’t play that tight and expect to have any chips unless you win a couple hands. Same with a brick-and-mortar casino. You will go broke waiting for the idiots to go away. Plus, in my experience, there just are a lot fewer idiots. I know that when I sit down at a table, I will get a good game.
