There is a 2021 Autobiography book called" I’m Your Huckleberry" out. He talks about his career and health and other subjects. Its still a bit pricey, but I plan on buying it in the near future.

Back in the early 00’s, Val used to sit out on the patio of my local coffee shop in santa fe with a local musician who was also a client of my small distribution business. Never did get an introduction though. He was great as jim morrison
