Replay has a very nice community, and one of the most important parts of this game is the social part; however, one shortcomings of the app is that there is no clear way to know who sent you a friend request unless you go manually to the friends tab and click on “See Pending Requests”, the lack of visual notifier of a new friend request being received often leads to missed connections, if you don’t remind your self to go to that page every few days, you often find alot of missed friend requests which could come off as rude, my suggestion is to add pending friend requests to the friends utility in the nav bar, something like this :
There are at least a couple of ways to be notified. I receive a gmail message whenever I currently receive a Friend Request. I think you should check your general settings. I don’t remember where that is but maybe a Player Rep can provide more info.
I hope this helps.
Once apon a time there was a marker light like for endorsements the bulbs been out for a year or more, Checked mine, guess it’s been a few months, had a few.
I like the idea if simplified even more. There is a marker light that does come on for me, but goes out as soon as I click it to see who sent request.
I would suggest after clicking on it, have a pop up asking if we want to leave light on as a reminder until we act on.
Mine was set to receive, I rebooted it, unchecked hit update then checked it and hit update maybe my bulb got changed
Yep, they need to put a new lightbulb in----i miss those days:)
Hi @ThonBl7ror,
There should be a red bubble on the Friend Request icon on top of your page, every time someone sends you a friend request.
When you click on it, it should show you the player who sent it, and you can accept or reject from there.
I highly suggest checking your notification settings, so you can be notified of friend requests.
If you’re not getting notifications even with the right settings in Replay, please approve them in your browser for the new URL: https://www.casino.org/replaypoker/

Hello @chipsmama
Thanks for the reply, I’m familiar with the friend toolbar, however i think there might be some issue with it, as for the last 3 months, the behaviour you described never happened, when someone sends me a friend request, i don’t find it in that space, only way for me to find it is to click on the “Pending friend requests” button, as you can see down below :
(Ive changed the usernames and avatar for privacy reasons)
And here are my notification settings :
As you can see here, i have 2 pending friend requests that still don’t show up in the friend toolbar, From what i understand now, this must be a Bug, (i don’t know if i should contact player support for this, please let me know).
Since the desired behaviour already exists and only needs fixing, i will change the original post to include @Litenin 's Suggestion of adding a mecanism to keep the light bulb on even after clicking on it initially, My Idea is to add a “Mark as seen” button next to the “Accept” and “Reject” buttons, so that way, as long as you don’t explicitly click on the “Mark as seen” Button, the light bulb stays on.
Edit : Apparently, i can’t edit the original post so this comment will do
Exactly the same for me (and for everyone else I ever talked about this problem), since I joined the site.
I only ever get the red bubble notifications when someone accepts my friend request, but never when someone sends one, not one single time so far.
This light has not worked for a year, on mine and MINE other players–i think it is burned out:)
I am still receiving the red bubble when someone sends me a friend request. @ThonBl7ror I sent you a friend request to test this out. Please let me know if you see the red bubble.
Hello @chipsmama, Surprisingly i did receive the notification when you sent it to me :
But as the others have noted, this doesn’t happen with regular users, maybe this notification red bulb only gets active/visible if the person sending you the friend request is a staff member, and it doesn’t work with regular accounts?
Is it possible to do a test within the last users who posted in this thread? If you can send a friend request please so we can see if this feature is working? @ThonBl7ror @Poki65 @bill8888 @Lelaina
Only if you’re willing and able to do it - and please report here if you see any red bubble upon receiving a friend request.
yeah, red bulb burn out for me too. hasn’t worked in years. yes everything in notifications is turned on
Well, if we need to test it in all ways (From member to staff, from member to member, and from staff to member, the last one we already tested and with success), Iv’e removed you from my friendlist and sent you a new friend request @chipsmama , Iv’e also sent a friend request to @wildpokerdude , please let us know if you’ve received the red bulb. Anyone else who wants to help with the test, feel free to send me a friend request, i’ll let you guys know if i received it.
no red bulb for me
Sent you one, Thon
Following Leleina’s friend request, i can confirm that i received no lightbulb/notification :
