Thanks for the suggestion Marty1985. We definitely intend to add more poker types. It’s taken longer than we imagined (I though it would be within 6 months, and that was a year ago). I’m not going to fall into the trap of making a prediction. But it is going to happen some time in the future - we’re really excited about it too.

Omaha 8 should be easy fix with you already having omaha

I think the updates/upgreads have a ticket system, its about 200 issue right

now what RP work on. " like the idea" number will move things up in the ticket system.

Yeah compared to some other types of poker Omaha 8 shouldn’t be too hard. But we wanted to not just bolt it on as a quick fix. Rather, look at how we currently different poker types and use it as an opportunity to create the framework to make it easier to add any type of poker. Hence it’s going to be a bit more work.

So our intention is totally to add these and more games to Replay. We’re 100% poker focussed, so offering a wide variety of game variation is part of our DNA. You’re probably wondering then why the delay. Well, right now adding new variations is time consuming and adds to the complexity of the poker server. It’s a technical debt that keeps getting bigger and gets to a point where it’s inefficient.

That’s why we have a project in the works to rebuild our poker server (the core game part of the site) to make it much easier to add new games. Obviously them means a big effort up front to get the new server working where the current one is today, but it’ll have lots of advantages in terms of scaling the site, as well as making adding new poker variations relatively trivial.

So this is a big project and has been pushed back for some time now, just so we launch some other features on the site that we determined as more important than new poker variations. But the good news is that we’re getting to the point now that working on the new server is a priority, at a guess, I would hope to make substantial progress in Q3/4 this year.

Hope that’s a helpful update as to where we are, I always try my best to be as transparent with the players as to what’s happening behind the scenes here at Replay. I can assure you that we’ve got lots of great stuff in the pipeline, it just takes time, as we’re still a relatively small (but growing!) team. =)
