As a very young child, I thought this was the greatest song by the greatest singer ever. Later, I changed my loyalty to Nat Cole, but Frankie Laine still reverberates in my memory. This one’s for Kate.

Wow, oh so many years ago when I was just 13, I started a job as a cashier in cafeteria, at a large company. Within the week, my boss, a man 50 years my senior, said I was way to smart for that job, and offered to teach me everything about the food service business. I spent the next two years under his wing, and it taught me a career. The thing is , he often called me his Jezebel.
Never knew what he meant, and I never gave it much thought, but now… I’m feeling mighty uncomfortable.

Just a wee bit older, For my Dad WWII Army Air Corp
Dad liked most music, Even found his car radio tuned to Rock-n-Roll c1972 and could play about any wind or string instrument but Glen Miller was always at or near the top of the stack of old vinyl.
