I recently played in seventh heaven. It is a tournament game with 3 rebuys and 1 add on with a guaranteed prize pool of 200,000 chips. It had a 2000 chip buy in. There was a total of 38 entrants, 54 rebuys and and18 add ons. This adds up to a hell of alot more than 200,000 chip but it only paid out the guaranteed 200,00 chips. What gives, am i missing something here. Game id was #6700541

with 38 players 2000 each minus 200 tournament fee = 68,400
and 54 rebuys 54 x 2000 = 108,000
and 18 addons 18 x 2000 = 36,000
the total to prize pool should be= 212,400
not a hell of a lot more but more than 200k
Where did you get the count of rebuys and addons, could your count be off? I am not very familiar with the rebuy tournaments, is that info posted somewhere?

38 entries, 54 rebuys and 18 addons.
The cost of entry is 2,000, (1,800 +200 fee) but the rebuys and add-ons cost 1,800. (We dont take the fee again)
Your transaction record should show you had one rebuy for 1,800 and a double rebuy for 3,600.
Total collected was (38+54+18) x 1,800 = 198,000
Hope this explains it.

Thank you very much, Rob, for the clarification and the fast response. I knew there had to be something off. The help section blurb is not clear on the cost of the rebuy and add on. It says rebuys and addons cost the same as the buy in. I believe most players would think that means the whole amount of the buy in as stated in the tournament listing. Clearly I did. I have played a couple of rebuy tourneys in the dim and distant past and now that I think of it I vaguely recall noting that the rebuy was less than the buy in.

A double rebuy costs 3500 chips which only is counted as a single rebuy. If you watch the rebuys go up as the game progresses. All this information is in the tournament lobby. So far only staff members have responded to my post. Kinda one sided. Im not going to go round and round, your right im mistaken. Thanks replay staff.
