I see many people sitting with less than 5k chips

Maybe LOL

Why in the world would you pay anything for something that is worthless . First off this site is here to make money and the only way that happens is if you are crazy enough to buy chips worth nothing. Have you ever asked yourself why this site is so cheap with their free chips? Have you ever asked yourself why you continually lose with hands that at a live table would win at least 50% of the time?

Wise up folks when you see runner runner runner and you are sitting on a hand that you should never fold but you get hammered 90% of the time that tells you something. As far as your 40 hours a month playing goes take yourself to a live cash table and see how unrealistic this site is LOL.

For you beginners do not I say again DO NOT think what you see happen on these table that it is anything like real play.

i agree with you i play cash every week, however, i have yet to find a website that can compete with replay.

It’s fun and keeps me entertained, i know this is like arcade poker but with no alternative to cash games what can i do? i can’t play poker for money it’s banned in my country.

you say it’s worthless but 40 hours a week of entertainment is not worthless

That’s a good option. You can measure progress by what you can do on your own and support the site that gives you the opportunity to build your skills very rapidly. Tipping is a way of saying thank you.

I’ve purchased chips. Listening to a lot of the poker coaches on here, they’ve never purchased chips. To that I say, “baloney.” I’ve cleaned out folks in a game and been cleaned out of chips in others. Haven’t seen anyone that clears the table in magnificent play. I have received unsolicited advice from several players who try to impress those at the table with their comments. Heck, I’ve spent lots of chips proving they are bluffing 90 percent of the time. Worth it to me. And heck it’s entertainment. See you at the tables. Try to be polite.

I buy chips from time to time as a way of saying thanks instead of tipping.

That works too. I like the idea of using chips to clean out the bluffers and I’d ad the bingos.

You are absolutely right. It really takes the fun out of the game. However most people like that are they themselves miserable and lonely and starve for any attention if it be good or bad.I’ve met some really cool and interesting folks from around the world. I intend to buy some chips too support the program. Nailed it killadoob

I just want to say this,…Not everyone who enjoys playing poker, has it in their budget to gamble. And for those with gambling problems, even though it isn’t real money, when they lose they feel they MUST buy more and get back their losses.
I personally like to build my way to the top, not buy my way there. I like the “Tip jar” and I use it. Last but not least I don’t particularly care for the “cheapskate” title you threw out there but rather think of myself as a modern day “Robinhood” of sorts. I take the chips of the wealthy and redistribute them to who ever can take them from me. In a sense, helping the site continue to run by allowing other players to continue to play by gaining chips through my occasionally crummy play.

Yeah I don’t really have extra money around to spend on fake money lol plus it’s a lot more satisfying to earn your chips. At higher tables it’s really easy to point out the people who just buy chips because they usually play terribly and will just lose them anyways.

i’m not saying people have to buy chips but just don’t look down on people who because all of the free players who get their 2500 chips and build up for free can think the people who do because without people paying or tipping the jar this site would not exist.

again you can thank them for contributing to a point of making this website viable for the people involved to able to make such an website site. you think free poker this site would exist and be so awesome without people buying and tipping?

I do it . Of course a lot of what i say is quite profound…

Most of you are missing the point. You can amass as many chips as you want, but it is good to support someone that is providing a service to you (this website). If you spent time making up a website that many people use, you would at least ask for them to donate some money to you. Just support the website monetarily, even if it is small. That was the point of the original post. If $15,000 people bought $1 worth of chips per month, they feel like they are providing a fun service. It is not about the purchase of the chips, they are asking you to support the website and all that they do. I cannot believe many of you miss this point.
