The tie was broken by the higher kicker. Both had the two pair that were in the community cards: aces and 10s. One of the two players had a hole card queen, the other a hole card jack. Hole card queen served as kicker.
This is how I see it. Wiser people can correct me if I’m wrong.

yes, ones with higher kickers will kick you in the butt… 
I know, my butt has taken a lot of kicking.

They use the kicker cuz no one likes to share. LOL. I am usually the loser in that scenario.
