HIGH NOONERs

Tiggy, it is so nice of you to say. It is our hope to bring a new view of games and a new view of creating very realistic regions, which already contains hundreds of world class poker players. Thank you.

Flashlight, you are right on the money. Indeed, you are forcing us to demonstrate what we have planned. And as you said, it is based on the map I showed of Australia, which is a part of the World Clock of Time Zones. I will post it and also fit in what regions we see as our Replay Poker future, not just NOONERs.

HIGH NOONERS and Multi-Tabling Poker

Playing multiple tables is a way of playing two or more poker games at the same time. We at Replay Poker are all recreational poker players for the most part and many of us have more fun playing multiple tables. We have skilled players here at Replay Poker who regularly play mass multi-table to maximize their profit per hour. They do this not in tournament play but in ring play. They are seeking a high rate of return on their chip investments. If you want to see these skilled players go to the top levels or the ring games and you will find them playing in many tables. In the same way that a musician will practice their instruments, the top players are also practicing.

Many online poker rooms have built-in features that enable multi-tabling. HIGH NOONERS are introducing MULTI-TABLING to tournament play. The real challenge HIGH NOONERS are engaged is in playing multi-tabling in Multi-Table-Tournaments. The challenge is that sophisticated players know that the skills of ring play is totally different than the skills of multi-table-tournaments.

The Two Methods of Multi-Tabling in Tournaments

To successfully multi-table in tournaments you must have a sure way to effectively organize the play. The two methods; tiling and stacking almost invariably work. Since we only play at two tables at once, you may prefer TILING, that is to make the tables smaller and put them next to each other. The other way is to STACK your tables, so you always get the full size that you normally play.

My Method of Multi-Tabling

Oddly, I do a combination of both tiling and stacking. When getting both tables once the game starts, I make each table at about 75% of my normal size for play. I then stack Game 1 in the upper left side of my screen, and Game 2 gets placed at the lower right side of the screen. I find it very easy to click each board and assessing the situation. The automatic fold button is my biggest friend. Another friend is the Games lobby so I shrink the two lobbies down so I can view how other players are doing.

Multi-Tabling Strategies

In essence a player’s goal during a multi-tabling game is to minimize the factors in play. You don’t want to think about strategy each time you are up. If you do, you’ll likely experience problems.

Here are some things to consider when multi-tabling: 1. Play a very basic style, 2. Avoid getting into tricky situation, 3. Don’t try to maximize your profits at each table, 4. Make steady profits in the long run. 5. Avoid distractions. My biggest fault is I jabber jaw. Don’t jabber jaw. Let somebody else break the silence of a table. Or just get me talking and that trick always works.

Tournament Strategy

Keep track of what phase of the game you’re in by regularly looking at the standings in the table’s leader board. Know what stage of the game you are playing in. You are not in the easy ring games where nothing changes. In tournament poker the blinds go up. The tight play you like in the beginning needs to change to meet the needs of the games you are playing in the middle game. The end game of five or six players is quite different from the middle game and the head-to-head closing part of the game.

Construct your own schedule around the above events. Stick with it.

Start Slowly!

The best advice for multi-tabling is to start slowly. It can take time to adjust to playing poker at two tables at once. Once you’re comfortable, start to get creative. Make a semi-bluff. The more you play online multi-table poker the more you’ll feel comfortable. With experience you’ll soon discover your best play – and this will help maximize your profits at the tables!

Great advice

Would like to add if new to Multi - Tabling then this league is prefect as you never feel like you are slowing the game down whilst you get used to managing 2 tables - because people are so nice and it does not matter at all xxx

Good point @Tiggyxxx! The fact of the matter is there is no rule that you must play both games. These games also give the wealthy Ring players the ability to practice the much harder tournament games. Playing multiple tournaments are unheard of and now we have made them possible!

@Sharon you did a great job! For me, who doesn’t understand any of this, it is a good thing for me to realize I will never understand how LeaderBoards work. Good for all of you who do understand.

are your High Nooner tourneys on Sat open to everyone?

Congratulations on your great win yesterday. As you know there was stiff competition.

We are reworking the days and hours as well as making it easier for people to log in. As we make changes, because this is a new experiment, we need to make sure that we are careful. We would prefer to do it slowly than to hurry and make mistakes. If a player wants to join and they have a bank, of say 1M, I will advise them that they do not have enough in their bankroll to play. I would advise them to return when they have 5M chips. That said, we want to be inclusive, so we may be forced to create additional games with a much lower buy-in. We will do what we need to do to make sure as many people as possible can play.
