Replay has over 1,000 reviews on the Google Chrome store. One of the most common complaints is, “not enough time on the clock.”
Sunny, how many complaints are there about people running the clock? As usual it is hard to please everyone but I think Replay tries to be fair.
Very very few, if any. There are quite a few about “bingo play,” but these are balanced by the, “not as much bingo as most free sites” comments. Other than that, the “not enough time” comments are #1.
Thanks Sunny, that’s nice to know. Personally when on the tables I get lots of zzzzzzzzz complaints but have never had one about the clocks, so perhaps it is that those with less patience only make their views known on the tables.
There’s already a “better” solution to what we have now, thread “Lets Talk MTT Timers”
I am fine with squeezing in another type of MTT, but then you get into… well I’m not on when the few that there are, run … The Win-Win here is : players get more time when they actually need it, and when they dont, they have less time they can just waste and slow play down…
Thats the holy grail, and its perfectly decribed, and works as described on another site… in the thread I mentioned… You also have to look @ this Seville, in a bar or casino… the longer the player sits @ the table - the longer you have a chance to sell him food/drink… There is a direct incentive to have longer or non-exsistent timers in that environment…This is on demand online poker, where there is no incentive for any 1 MTT to last longer or shorter, other than having Meaningfull timers for the playerbase.
I personally almost prefer online to live, if I could play for real cash online, which I cannot.
Grapevine, anyone who will post “zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz” has issues with pace of play. Many ppl will do that to the ppl that demonstrate the willingness to waste the clock. So you get complaints, but you neglected to say from which side… the ppl that are being said to “zzzz”, or the ppl that are saying “zzzz”… then from there why are they complaining… I bet if you look closer at those complaints they do intersect somewhat and do paralell with the clock discussion.
Just as most “so called” Bingos, and anything but and are legitimate shoves … most time ppl using alot of the clock are doing it for legitimate reasons, yet there are alot of players using it for nothing more than a way to annoy fellow players.
Just to be clear, Ms. Sarah, I don’t think no time limit would work or even be a good thing. In the “Lets Talk MTT Timers,” I think I was the one who suggested a time bank, which would be a better compromise.
In my experience, those who say, “zzzzzzz” only play their own cards, and don’t seem to consider what anyone else might have. They are playing at the most basic level, and can’t seem to understand why anyone would need more than 2 seconds to make a decision.
The time allowed is controlled by the software, not by the incessant whining of pathetic children. I take more time in such circumstances because I’m a firm believer that it takes a village to raise an idiot, and I like to do my fair share of the educating since I’m highly qualified in the idiot department.
Apologies if my post was not clear, the zzzzz were the complainers.

I agree at least 100%. A time bank would be great. The “bigger” tournies need longer clocks because better players have more to think about.
Nope, SPG, you just agreed with me…
It was bound to happen sooner or later.
I really like the Replay site, but it is the fastest sight I have ever played on by far. I sometimes play on money sites at the same time I am plying on Replay and we always compete 2 hands and sometimes 3 on Replay in the same time it takes to play one on the money sites.
It is worse for some of us that are on satellite as we loose 1 ½ seconds each way as the signal goes out to space and back. I have lost my best hands trying to get the slider to the right spot only to be disconnected after I though I had made the bid.
If I fumble at all with the slider and my mouse I get disconnected and it only happens on good hands because the other hands I can just hit one of the buttons to make my call. So anything to extend even a little bit on the time to bed would be a great help.
I totally agree with that, and it is especially bad when playing hi/lo split omaha.
