Famous People You Have Met

Actually, I’m fairly certain that he did.

I remember turning my hips ever so slightly to give him better visual access, and believe I even threw in an elegant wrist twirling hand flourish of the sort Vanna White might employ before exposing a well-bought vowel.

This was when I detected the slight nod before he quickly finished his business and rushed off with the defeated gait so typical of men who have been forced to face their own inadequacies.

He is, no doubt, the better poker player, but I remember being smugly satisfied that I had at least scored a solid point in my favor!

Met Daniel, :raised_hands:
Checked each other out,
Left satisfied :astonished:
I need to get out more

Actually, it’s a true story.

Yes, I embellished it some to make it more amusing.

You, or any of you, believe or don’t believe as you will. (shrug)

Anyway, the story has been told.

The End

It was a very good story, and I believed most of it.

Had a blast drinking and listening to a man and his real life comedy the night his flight got grounded due to a snowstorm. Howie Mandel , myself and the bartender, the only souls around that night. Thank you again Howie~!

Mick Jagger, Keith Richard, Michael Jackson, Kenny Dalglish, Tommy Mottola, Tony Bennet & a whole host of others, far too many to recall. I was a freelance photographer doing PR stuff for Sony Music a whole few years ago.

Jim Carrey and that’s very cool because he’s my favorite actor. I recently found out that he is 58 and I thought, what the hell? I only recently watched the movie Ace Ventura and he’s so young and energetic there, when did it happen? and then I found out that this movie came out in 1993. I’m just not ready to realize this information.

By chance, I saw Karl Slover at O’Hare Airport

He was kind enough to sign " Karl Slover 1ST Trumpeter in the Wizard of Oz " on a piece of paper.

I think he was headed to Cleveland not Oz that day!

I didn’t know it at the time, but it was one of the highlights of my life… lol

1918-2011 RIP
