mi sapete dire se quando giocate avete dei rallentamenti dipendenti dalla piattaforma del gioco oppure dipende dai singoli giocatori?

Can you tell me if when you play you have slowdowns depending on the game platform or if it depends on the individual players?
sometimes but not too often
Ended up +40bb on the day ater my evening session so my journey continues !
Had a shot at 100/200 today- lost 50bbs so will be going back to 50/100. What was interesting was I played a player ranked 500 ish who was disapointingly dreadful. By far the worst player on the table ( bar me ) the others were ranked in the 20,000s and 30,000s and mostly seemed solid players
Yeah that’s why I prefer a small ball strategy - you’re gonna get a lot of callers no matter what on here - you want to play hands that do well in multi-way pots. I either min raise or limp (usually min raise because people will think you’re full of it and are more likely to call you when you flop a monster) and I play a wide range of hands - suited connectors and gappers, any pair, Broadway cards (better if suited). If I just flop top pair I keep the pot small (especially in a multi-way pot) - if I flop a set or better, it’s bonk a donk time.
Bonk a Donk lol. I like it !
This is how you play against someone that’s bluffing practically every hand and rarely folds - let them donate their chips to you!
After a few years, I realized it’s more of a slot machine thing, than Bingo. Some folks enjoy the instant gratification. That made more sense, so I just play accordingly. Occasionally, I’ll just say what the hey, and go AI on the challenge with a AK or something. I usually lose those, but if I get lucky, well, there’s a good stake. Generally, I just play ‘my’ way, and it all levels out (as consistent poker does, right?).
The main thing is, enjoy the game! Even after a lifetime of playing, there’s lots to learn, and this site has great etiquette. Great advice from Investor2023, spot on.
15 days in? You ain’t seen nothing yet.
34 days now…
Why do I have the tag of Champion level when I lost all of my play chips? I am not ranked as a high level anymore, yet have the tag on my hinnie of a champion.
6 months in now and I managed to get as far as 3 Mill but got a bit ambitious and bust myself by playing above my roll. I have worked up again to 5. Mill… lets see if I can NOT go bust again ! Sometimes I just feel the need to play "above " my bankroll even though I know that`s what caused me to bust out last time. I am generally winning at 500/1K and 1/2K but its not easy. I would say to any player wanting a good game and build a bank to avoid the very lowest stakes where its just so gung ho , you rarely know where you are are at. The standards of play markedly improve once you get to 200/400 and not quite so many players just chucking their chips away.
I’ll offer you some free advice on bank management…
Think of your bank as a black hole where nothing can escape.
So you’re at 5 million, OK, send some portion of that into the black hole, and don’t touch it. Let’s say you vow to put 3 million aside, leaving you 2 million. Act like that 2 mill is all you have, and play it at whatever stakes you want.
If you do well, throw another mill into your black hole, and so on.
If you start losing a lot of that 2 million, play down in stakes as needed and NEVER dip into your black hole bank, no matter what.
If you do this, you can never go broke. You get control of volatility. Your bank will grow over time, and you will eventually be able to play higher stakes without the danger of losing it all.
You just have to get used to playing against the limpers, callers, and those that go all in every hand. It’s difficult, sometimes, to bother with raising preflop. At 1/2 I tend to do what I’d never do in a real game, and that’s limp, since so many players limp in or call with absolutely the worst hands. Unless I have a monster, I might as well save some chips in those cases and see the flop cheaply. I was in a game recently where one player went to showdown with 72. He didn’t win, but those are the kinds of players that can really frustrate you when they make a hand and beat your strong hands.
Hi Ifound the higher the stakes the more “normal” the players , If you’re in a 20000 to 50000 tourny not many all ins ofcourse there is always an exception . Just have fun
I wouldn’t use the word “ normal “ but perhaps more “ focused “ or “ aware “ . When I play high stakes not only am I “ focused “ on everyone and everything but I’m “ aware “ of my bankroll and what limitations I put on myself. That makes for a better table and better results for the players.
This of course is my humble opinion but it works for me. All the way to the WSOP…
I am probably guilty of playing some iffy hands, especially when attempting to blind steal. My normal nit style of playing only premium hands does not work well when only 4 players are getting paid. So I have to play a wider range and still lose when I hit my flush or full house.
I do not see a problem with my new style of play when I have experience playing all in or fold tournaments or super turbo tournaments, where one blinds out before they get to enough premium hands to take down a tournament.
I have no idea where to post this, but I believe I am missing at least $20,000 from yesterday (8/20/22). HELP
You can review your Bank transactions under Bank Transaction History.
Go to the drop down arrow in the upper right corner of the Lobby page and click on Bank and scroll down until you see Transaction History.
If it still seems off then contact Support.
I hope this helps.
I’ve been mostly enjoying playing 9 player sit and go tournament sessions. People seem to try reasonably hard to win/stay in the game from what I’ve noticed and anyone who all-ins over and over will get called down quickly enough.
