Dream Weaver

Because my ??? in chat started this I am replying. Yes Heather is a very good player and Heather I hope you keep playing with us. I made the comment because I did not understand your play.
For the record Michael is not Captain of the Pirates Despina11 is.
12beat22 I disagree with your comment. Team Play is not about taking out the opponent it is all about getting as many of your team to final18. She could have called the BB or doubled it and Ryan and myself would have still been in the hand that is what confused me. When teammates are short stacked and blinds get to 1000 I believe you either try to pass if you have the chips or stay out of the hand and give them a chance to play. I don’t consider myself a strong player this is just my opinion since I seem to have started this whole mess.
HEATHER I APOLOGIZE PLEASE STAY!!!

John, as captain of the Pirate team, I sent Heather a personal message about this. I did not feel the need to sit and air our conversation on the forum. As you know, I run a tight ship, our team mates are close knit and when one has a grievance I try to get it resolved without outside interference as I’m sure the rest of the captains do for their players when a problem arises. Heather is and will remain a much loved Pirate until such time as she decides otherwise.

I played on my iPhone tonight, so I was unable to say it at the time, but I saw some great plays tonight, Jake and Joan from the outlaws were solid amongst many others, some fantastic passes, blocks and bluffs from the Pirates at the final table. Asur, Tinner, Clara, Ray and Ace were fire. All teams played great tonight! This is a fantastic league!

Michael,

What is this graph and why are you posting individual stats that don’t make sense for a team play league?

1.Cause he wants us all to know who is the LUCKIEST player in DW!
2.He can’t stop telling us how great he is.
3.He wants to be the most annoying personality he can possibly be.

Michale, then you wonder why folks get tired of your crap?

I by the way am one of the worst players in all of DW. Anyone who looks at my bank knows that. (And he will never be more annoying than me,so, give that one up rainsy.)

Such a narcissist, reminds me of Trump. I wonder, is there a “chart” showing who posts the most in this forum? Could it be…

mad here
Yeah man!

Since Michael is the self-proclaimed “best” team poker player judging by his graph and I’m obviously the worst team player judging by his graph, I’d like to propose a challenge if you will. Take 10 Pirates{cuz you’d NEVER take anyone from another team} and I’ll take 10 random players of my choice and let’s have a game. Careful before you say yes Michael…you wouldn’t want to be exposed for what you really are…

My apologies Jodie, usually I just post the link to stats page. I won’t post that again.

That brings up a very good question, why do we post individual stats every game, I have pondered this question myself, if it’s only about the teams what are these numbers?

@just_if_eyed

Call me whatever you want Just, everybody needs to vent and has a right to read whatever they want into what I write, I think you are a great player.

I post to promote, some things are controversial, some are helpful, some are accolades, and some just me babbling.

Do I have an ego problem? that’s for each individual to decide, I don’t see things the way most do.

But I have been told I have an ego problem, many times, I am to old to fix that now.

Everybody is different, people claim to be acceptant of others, but show who they are here often.

Just if eyed, if what you said is true, then Rain wouldnt have said the, this quote below, about how well, awesome the outlaws, and everybody played.

Also the reason for the graph, is the same reason Sharon post the chart thing on who wins each game. The graph chart just lets everybody know how everybody is doing. Rain would post that graph chart no matter how doing. On, at Nordic Warriors Rain has posted charts, graph’s, leaderboards, where his results lower on the graph’s, charts, leaderboards, etc.

Rain isn’t posting that stuff to brag, rub it in, etc. Rain is posting it as a service, for info, so players can track, check how they are doing, etc. Even if it may seem like he is bragging, etc, that is probably not his intent. He may not be aware that posting it offends you, etc.

Also this is probably not the place for your comment. If you have a complaint about Rain, if you tell your captain, or Sharon privately, they will investigate, and maybe tell Rain. Or you could send a private message to Rain.

Also I have seen Rain play in both Dreamweaver, Nordic Warriors, and he is a good player. It’s not just luck. Yes he gets lucky, but I have seen him get extremely unlucky too. If it was just luck, if he wasn’t a good player, then he wouldn’t consistently have the LONG TERM good results he has, as variance, luck, good luck, bad luck, etc, is a SHORT to MID TERM thing, and over the long term variance, luck, evens out, so while a bad player might have temporary good results, over the long term, a bad player’s results will almost always be bad.

Also Just if eyed your a much better player then you give yourself credit for. Your a good player. Or at least I have seen you play good, or at least play good at times. And you have had good results, and you, and Renegades, have beat everyone, including us pirates at times. Celebrate those times. Yes the Pirates have done well, but that doesnt mean that us pirates cant be beaten by improved, better competition, and us Pirates like, welcome improved, better competition, challenge, getting beat, etc, as that is fun to play against fun, challenging, tough competition, that helps improve our game. And just because us Pirates have done well, doesn’t mean that we rub it in. We do like to celebrate, just like you. If you celebrate when you win, etc, us pirates won’t get offended, and will be happy for you, and probably celebrate with you, and will try to beat you next time.

Pick me, not afraid to be beaten. Granpa always said, (Put up or shut up) Looking forward to this. LOL Can’t we all just get along!

This sentence makes no sense (random of my choice) it’s either one or the other. A choice is not random.

Sharon has a game for grudge settling called Weaver Fever, where all DW play against each other, that’s a start maybe you could show up for that once.

There are lots of great players in this league, but I do not want to make anybody choose sides.

But I fear no one, so I will bite. What I will do is challenge you to a 10 on 10 invite only grudge match, you pic 9 of your friends, and I will bring 9 from wherever I want, anybody from Replay, and I will make a game for us to see who is who in the zoo. I will host the game in Leagues Invitational.

Maybe make it a monthly thing so you will have a chance to try again after, well you know.

12beat, while that graph chart can be a good indicator of how good someone is doing, just because the graph chart has someone at lower end points wise, doesnt necessarily have to mean they either not doing good, or not a good player. The person could just be temporarily having bad results, or the person could be not playing enough Volume.

The graph chart measures, keeps track of how many tournament points that get. If play a lot of volume, then can accumulate a lot of tournament points, even if a person doesn’t do as well.
Also I am not even on the chart. I dont know why. I have made the top 18, final table, points about 39% to 43% to 45% to 47% to 50% to 53% of time, but despite that, if I was on the chart, my graph line, points would be, is small, short, as I haven’t played a large enough sample size, and dont play enough volume, etc, to get, grind up more tournament points.

The graph chart, is posted for same reason Sharon post the game results, so that can check to see how we are doing. Pretty sure Rain wasnt posting the chart to brag, an or say anything about your results.

Rain, 12beat, a 1 time grudge match, etc, doesnt prove anything, as players can get lucky, unlucky in a only 1 game. A best of 3 to 5 to 7, is better because variance less of a factor in a best of series, then in a 1 of game.

Met @coltz last night in Weaver Fever. Nice to meet one of the OGs for Dream Weavers.

Thank you for creating this league and thank you to @SharonSmarty for making it something special. I have been here a bit over a year and I rarely miss a game because this fun group. Quite a tribute to both of you

Have fun, play poker, dream on- Dream Weavers
