Single digit Rens next?..and then what?..

I don’t know, maybe someone on your Team should ask those who do not show up, why that is so. On paper the Renegades have the full 25 that are allowed for each Team but, like I said once or twice before… “you can’t stop people from not showing up”, a very apropos Yogi Berra quote.

There is something that has been bothering me, perhaps irritating is a better word, since the beginning of this quarter… and it may be related to the new blind structure and the fact, that most games now go beyond two hours, which was rarely the case last year. This quarter so far, at the tables during play, there has been complaining, whining and griping, including by me, but not necessarily in that order, with respect to getting bounced around, table to table, within the first twenty minutes of any given game.

The reason for this is very simple… very close to 1/2 of all Players in nearly every game so far this year are registering after the game has begun. Last night as the most recent example… when the game started there were 32 Players, ten minutes later there were 48 and then 10 minutes after that, at the late registration cut off, there were 61 Players.

Personally I do not like, after being in the BB at one table, being booted right into another BB at another table… this really depleats my Karma and seriously tests my temperment and patience.

We all know that Replay does not give a " F " when populating the tables at the beginning of each and every game, but we should not encourage Replay to annoy us all collectively as a result of some of us being tardy, and in most cases without good cause.

So how about all of us showing up on time and before the train leaves the station. This would be a good thing for all of us. And if anyone has a different view of what I am talking about, and perhaps believing in “alternate facts”… then I would certainly like to hear what you have to say. Otherwise, fall in-to and tow the Team Play line.

I ask the Captains of each Team to emplore the need to and of their Players… that they show up in and on time for each game in DWL. Not a biggie in my opinion. Just sayin.

ii agree when the game started only 5 of my team were registered this has an effect on my game as we are always outnumbered and only see 5 registered i only go through the motions.i will play in one more game if no better it will be my last .thank you

Congratulations Renegades!! well played!
@uliarsbluff I would hate to see you leave such an excellent team, you have been a great asset to the Rens.
Whitney is a fantastic captain.
A lot of players like to come in in the middle of the pack, it gives an advantage over the small stacks, I personally do not see that as a problem, though I am rarely late, I like to play alone or with teammates every game is a new adventure.
Everyone has their opinion about it, and like @SharonSmarty always says, you are never going to make everyone happy. I am happy to be able to play with all the Dream Weaver players win or lose.
It is a great competition and draws some great poker player like yourself.
