My parents had one. Mom also had the doilies made by Grandma. I actually have some Grandma made put away. They were so pretty.

God, it used to set my teeth on edge…brrr…had to use oven mitts to release the cubes :cold_face:.

Yes indeed , they expected their furniture to last forever and saw one finally uncovered last week at local thrift store.

But they did work and produced large ice cubes, Also only 99 cents each, now the plastic one’s are 8 bucks at some places, hmm. wander why :smiley:

I still remember those ridiculous long curly cords that were so nasty. Unfortunately I was the one in the house that had to clean and uncurl them daily. My sisters were the culprits lol

Wasn’t this a wall mounted phone? Those were great you could walk away and do things while talking sort of like we do with the current cell phones. Except your walking range was a lot shorter.

This is so funny. I have this exact one, colors and all. Grandma made it for me because I was a Browns fan. I know, no comment. I also have this one. Sorry I didn’t undo it.
