Mis my 442 Olds
You can still see old streetlights like this on Beacon Hill in Boston. Soo pretty at night especially in the fall.
Have one hanging in the kitchen, only can opener wife will use on small tomato paste cans and another in the camper. Great survival tool !
I’ve had one on my key ring since I was 18. I don’t know it you know this but the hook is a bottle opener.
Or a lid opener for well sealed canning jars lol, comes in handy
We had so many of these.
Remember this money ?
It is illegal for collectors to have the $100,000 bill
I have the $10,000 bill
Was going to say… I want my Maypo
But on 2nd thought… I want a few of those 10k bills
Sounds like Maypo for me
I only have one so I’ll have maypo with ya
1962 brought us the pager, cordless phone, and something called a computer. lol
I am sorry that I took this to be true.
What was invented in the year 1962?
The 1962 Seattle World’s Fair introduced technological innovations that seemed out of reach at the time, but would eventually become a part of every day life. Some of the ground breaking gadgets unveiled included a pager, a cordless phone and something called a computer
Not sure…All I DO know is that these inventions enabled people to find me easily. Not sure I like that! However, without the computer, I would not be on replay right now making new friends with all of you good people.
I agree Steve. I have the best friends here. I am not sure either. Now I hear it was actually much earlier.
1921: The first-pager like system was used by the Detroit Police Department when they successfully put a radio-equipped police car into service.
It doesn’t matter though. Friendships matter.
Update: One 1934 rated 66 out of 70 just sold for $480,000
( Please send a box of Maypo if ya sell if for that )
