Does anyone remember the name of the short story by Larry Niven that coined the concept of the “flash mob?” I remember the POV character was a TV news reporter (it was written so long ago, they actually reported news in those days).

I’d love to take credit for knowing the answer to this, Alan, but Mr. Google told me it was titled “Flash Crowd,” from 1973. Now I’ll have to find it!

Google can be a handy guy to know. Being a dinosaur, I seldom think of him, though. I’m more likely to consult Dr. Britannica.

Omg Jan, I just saw this Video and it’s awesome, I watched it twice and going to watch it again.
I just loved the moves and all the different songs and Dance they imitated and done.
This made my day, it’s amazing what people can do to make you Laugh and Smile :smiley:
Plus a couple of those guys are hot. :innocent: :heart:
