The best animal I can think of that represents my style of play is the lioness. Patient,calculating, lay low, move slowly, and only strike when the odds seem favorable. Many times it works, and many times I fail to get my meal. Every now and then fake or bluff with nothing.
Meercat! I lay low and then keep sticking my head into random pots & keep chasing them till the river!
I think I’m an octopus. I’m waiting for the opponent to trap him and then I’ll leave throwing enough ink behind me!

Male fiddler crabs bluff their way through fights. They also adapt their combat strategies if they have lost their original enlarged claw (hand) and have regrown a more fragile, weaker one.

I would have to say a cat. The saying “couriosity killed the cat” would be me staying in to see the next card, but also having the ability to pounce when necessary.

Though my username comes from a rabbit who loved to win, I am probably most like my glowing eyed cat to all of you. A little nutty, but kind of intimidating and friendly too I’ve tried to change my picture to my pretty sun conure that shouldn’t intimidate anyone, but everyone seems to want the cat, lol.

The Alligator… There is the American and the Chinese Alligator still on Earth. I’m partial to the American species (A. mississippiensis). Believe it or not they can rise up and stand on their hind feet-and take steps. True. According to Wikipedia they cannot walk long distances on 2 feet just to ease Your mind. But as they lean forward coming back down they can start moving at a surprising rate of speed. I have learned to be patient at the table like the resting Gator. Have to stay in the Game to play so I using the Later-Gator method. I now fold often in the hopes of being able to fold again sometime later… When the hole cards show great promise I expend the energy and chips to bring the prize to within reach. It then switches from Pot odds to Fate after that. I will say that sometimes the lightening quick Large bluff I make at a pot might be a Lil bit Reptilian. Good Cards n Fun 2All…

I’m definetely a rabbit. Shy and even a coward, I only bet when I have a pair of aces. Thus I play few hands and win all of them. One in a while my bluff scares everyone as they know I’m such a trusty person

Wow - is that your rabbit? Kind of looks like and harlequin ermine of some sort, maybe even a charlie. Would love to learn the genetics behind that coloration.
