Congrats, FatnSassy. Looks like you’re off by 1 whole minute. Great job. Official results will follow, no doubt. (Glum face) I was off by about 10 hours and killed two calculators in the process. Requires skill to kill a calculator, you know.

You can try Google sheet to do the calculations. Its much easier. It does date arithmetic also.
For example:

Take any two hands played within a week from the ‘Latest Hands’ or wherever. May be better to get exactly in one week interval, as it will cover the weekly variations, week days and weekends.
Copy and paste the hand numbers in cell A1 and A2, copy and paste the time in B1 and B2. In cell C2, calculate the rate at which the hands are played per day, as =(A2-A1)/(B2-B1). In D2, find the remaining hands as (500,000,000-A2) and divide it by the daily rate, =(500,000,000-A2)/C2. This will give the required days to reach 500 million hands. In E2, add these days to B2, =B2+D2. E2 will give the date and time it will reach the 500 million hands. (All cells need to be formatted (format, drop down) appropriately).
If further adjusted to daily variation, will get the time pretty close.
Added: Date arithmetic is a new thing I found out, while doing this exercise.
