Concerts seen in person

When I saw The Who in 75 @ the Silverdome the warm up band was booed off too, Even people throwing bottles on stage, Felt bad for them and the guy who booked reggae.
Flip side the warm up for Joe Cocker in 78 was Cheech and Chong promoting up in smoke, In a 300 seat Theater.

That’s funny.

Used to be a lotta passing ā€œsmokesā€ back then

Yeah. Wasn’t sure if I’d be censored… But I was pretty sure many would know what I was reeferring to.

Both Cash and Elvis did prison concerts

Dire Straits, 1992 in Rotterdam, Netherlands
*i dont like big crowds but that one i had to see

Went with 2 friends, one of them had a ā€œcould not care lessā€ crazy attitude, arrived late but he walked us past every one (1000’s?) already in the que right to the front -stepped over the gate- and we had the luxury of watching it right infront of the podium in a less crowded area

Never seen Elvis in Prison.
BTW, My post was a Joke, Did You play with a Helmut?

Iron Maiden with Alice Cooper as the opening act in Camden NJ. Side by side with my son singing every song they played great show. Traffic was evil (Bioncee was at Citizens Bank Park the same night)
Judas Priest with Steel Panther in Allentown, PA had a blast and Rob Halford wasn’t very moble but man can he still belt out the jams.

Steel Panther on America’s got talent or whatever was one of the most amusing things I’ve ever seen. How many people do you think looked them up after that and got a (very) rude surprise?

Mammoth (Wolfgang Van Halen) have a new album and are touring. Seems like that might appeal to people a lot of people here if someone is looking for their next show.

I think only as support though, and by me that means Creed, so that’s a hard no. Still, if most people here should probably give Mammoth a listen if they haven’t already.

Check out Folsom Prison blues on Youtube.

After easing these tales of Happiness I had to reply

It was the early 70’s just starting high school

My brother who was a senior student asked me if my girlfriend and me wanted to go to a concert at the arena

I’d never been to a rock Cobert before

Concert not Cobert although I love his show

Anyway

Back in the day we climbed into my oldest brother’s car

A boat back in the day

The old styled big cars

We piled in 8 of us

AND had plenty of room!

I rode in a volt today and thought I was in outer space

The Jetsons are here

One of the best cartoons ever

Back to the concert

We got there Nice arena

Flo and Eddy opened basically the Turtles

Remember this is my first concert

So Flo and Eddy get a standing ovation
Encore!

After their finale

ALICE COOPER played

And that’s a story in itself

Sorry to bore you
Have a great morning noon and evening

And I gaurentee you’ll sleep well!
