NEW SCORING SYSTEM
Here is the scoring system we will be using for this quarter. Changes can be made for Q2 if we wish, but not until then. The idea is to reward people who finish in the money more pointwise. Note that no points, now, are given for a no-show player.

Norris will be posting an updated team graphic chart soon. For the most part they are the same with the addition of our 9th team HOWLERS (Nicasurf, Manwolf and Wolfie98290). Welcome! And yud76 is now a sub for Two Mares and an Old Donk (two Old Donks???).
Some last minute adds are still occurring and one new (10th) team possibly forming. As part of the RULES CHANGES for 1/1/2021 we introduced your suggestion of having âroving subsâ that can play for any team. We are pleased to announce that the following players have agreed to be ârovers.â Subs are allowed to play once during any given week and the team captains must alert Dorkupine they are playing for their team or they may not get their score properly credited. Teams with their own subs may still use a rover if they are in a bind.

LEAGUE INFORMATION TO COPY/SEND TO ANYONE WHO ASKS:
The Barnyard Muckers is a League made up of Silver and Golden Donks and members of the TPP League (only). There are currently 9 teams comprised of 3-4 players each. One team member plays in one of three games each week (Thursdays at 7:00 p.m., Fridays at 10:00 a.m. and Saturdays at 2:00 p.m.). Members can play at different times from week to week, but can only play once in any given week. Teams may add a âdedicatedâ sub (4th member) to use in their rotation or use the ârovingâ subs available to all teams. A roving sub may only play once a week.
Game buy-in is 20K and there are currently 9 teams (e.g. a âSNGâ of one nine-player table). This is individual poker - you play your game however you see fit (and keep your prize money) - but each individualâs game points based on finish (see Muckers League Forum) are added to the team total for the quarterly score. At the end of the quarter a winner is declared, congratulations extended and silly tee shirts (designed by snowman) awarded.
Itâs not too late to add a team (or two) and under the new scoring system a late start isnât too much of an impediment to winning the Championship. Anyway, the games are fun and only run about an hour and a half and the prize money decent - so winning a DBN tee shirt isnât all itâs about. (Though itâs pretty special - scroll up and you will see what I mean!)

Saturday Week 1 Results Posted
Week 1 is in the books and, well, do you remember way back (on Thursday) when I said there was some âshakeupâ from last quarter in the standings? Yeah, well you can forget I said that. @ChicagoSerbs of Two Mares and an Old Donk won the first Saturday tournament of the quarter, outlasting @LadyCon of Barnyard Tramps. That puts us right where we ended last quarter, with the Tramps in first place and 2 Mares nipping at their heels.
Note: During todayâs tournament one member registered, but did not play a hand, so that player is considered âa no show playerâ by league management. Their finish was removed from the results and those who were eliminated before that player blinded out are moved up one spot accordingly.

The blind structure has been changed with 10/20 being added and the starting chips increased to 5,000. Weâll see how that goes this week.

Thursday Week 2 results posted
It didnât take long for @SarahFra of Barnyard Muckers to get back to her winning ways as she outlasted @manwolf of Howlers to take her first win of the quarter on Thursday evening. The win extended the Tramps lead a bit and manwolfâs performance moved Howlers into second place, passing 2 Mares and an Old Donk.

Friday Week 2 results posted
A bit of a shakeup in the standings today as @pokerrick of Queen and Her Lads outlasted @BlackWidow of Shady Sharks for the victory. The win propelled Queen and Her Lads into second place, 8 points behind the Barnyard Tramps. Two Mares and an Old Donk remained in third place as Howlers dropped to fourth.

Wow, what a finish today with a 3-way all in between ttier1, 12beat22 and LadyCon. LadyCon of Barnyard Tramps wins the hand and the match to keep the Tramps in first place. 12beat22 of Queen and Her Lads finishes second to keep Queen and Her Lads in second place as well.

Grizy- of Queen and Her Lads outlasted crosby63 of Pigs In Muck for the victory this evening. The win brings Queen and Her Lads to within 2 points of the first place Barnyard Tramps.

Looks like Queen and Her Lads came to play this week as @pokerrick picks up their second victory of the week. The win moves Queen and Her Lads into first place. @Alex1963 of Barnyard Tramps takes second place to keep the Tramps within striking distance.
