Bankroll Builder tournament cheated me out of money and chance to win.

I was just playing a Bankroll Builder tournament in less than five minutes after the return after first 5 minute interval I was playing at my table where the average chip stack was $6/7k (I was approx. $5,700) with one guy at $12k the blinds were $150/300. I was moved to a table with the average was $35k with two at $65k and one at $118k with the blinds I believe around $1/2k and the average pot at $7k!

I was unable to even truly play my hand as I had no weight to pressure the other players in the hands (I believe 2 hands I played) and was quickly bleed out due to the next two Big and Small Blind positions. I have tried to report this but unable to find an option or category to report or even ask a question about this type of subject. I could only find this info as any type of reporting example: Previous:#1115188803

Has this or anything similar happened to someone else, how can I report this?

Hi Sho_Down,
I can understand how you might feel upset but table balancing is random and happens at every Multi Table Tournament both online and face to face. If table balancing were done so as to keep similar stack sizes at the same table then that would be unfair.

A couple of thoughts:

Standard tournament guidance says that if you are under 20 big blinds you are in trouble.

When the blinds are 1k-2k and you have only 5,700 chips you are in deep trouble and even playing against similar stacks you have very little fold equity as they are all as desperate as you and might/probably call an all in (which is pretty much your only move) with a marginal hand.

Learning to play against bigger stacks is something all poker players learn about (through experience, lol) (Hint: wait for a decent hand and shove)

I am sorry you are upset about how the tournament went if you think there is an issue then please do contact support. In my experience I have found them to be helpful and responsive.
Hope this helps…
Peace!

Hi @Sho_Down,

You already received great answer here that table rebalancing is completely random and does not look at chip count at all. We do not group the small stack or the big stacks together. It is completely coincidental with players being moved randomly, and we advise players to keep an eye on the average stack in the tournament at all times. We wrote an article about this topic, please check it out, and let me know if you have any questions.
