Usually, at regular tables, if you raise 5-10X and 3 or four callers call you (the normal) pre-flop, by the time you reach the river, you are barely left with a pot-sized bet left in your stack. Now if someone makes that river bet, then you are left with no option to either call or fold your hand. Taking away the most lethal weapon that players have in poker. The bluff.
now imagine the same scenario but now you have 500BB in your stack. If played regularly, the amount of chips in the pot will be 100BB at most, leaving you with a 400BB-sized cannon ball that could tear through all defenses of your opponent, even if they are holding the third nuts.
That is what the games on this site are missing. And what I hope to see when I come back to this site next time. A table where I could cold bluff on the river.
