@southwestmba love u bro!
My grandad back in the 50’s would be paid on a Friday and then go play cards. He’d either come home with double or nothing.
Very good Kate and Lynn, have to agree the 10am morning game is best fun and entertaining game here and we all enjoy doing a Mike.
Andy, you are right on about Bodie. It makes my day when he is at my table, or when I get on and find a message from him. Yesterday, as I was driving Roger to the VA, I told him how Bodie wanted him to mow his grass. Roger is a disabled Veteran who can hardly walk, lives in Ohio, and Bodie is in California. He made my husband laugh which also made my day. I, too, love it when Andy, and his list of friends are on my table in any tournament. That is why I am here. Winning is just a bonus. The friends I have made are life changing. Any time I can smile and laugh with the things life forces on us, is a good time. Kindness is everything. Take care friends
My dog Lambeau since I’m the only one in my family that plays and only Replay Poker Holdum. He was a Border Collie sheep dog and as we know they are very intelligent where I am not. He would watch me play patiently and when I won a hand, he would know that I won before I told him by my reaction verbal and non-verbal. I would give him a treat. He knew when I lost and again without saying anything he knew and would lay back down with his head between his paws and stare me down no treat. Dogs can pick up emotions and if you have had one you know what I’m talking about . . .woof!
Definitely me!
That’s me - I am the bingo all-in pre-flop player on the table!
agree Kate, when Peekie-lynn is not on the table it feels a little strerile. I had used to her in the beginning but now i mis her if she is not there. Cannot always reply so fast because have to use my dictionary sometimes.
me. I’m the only one that plays poker
I don’t know what a Mike is, and I am almost sure you are not talking about me, if this is an all-in move it’s certainly not me, I never go all-in unless it’s one of these reasons.
1- I have two cards
2- I have four cards
3- I have seven cards
4- I am in the hand
5- It is an odd or even day
6- The day we are playing ends with a Y
7- I can’t find my pants
As you can see I am not the Mike, if in fact that is what this Mike you speak of does.
Have fun in the games
Michael
I will spare the blushes of the said “Mike”. He may choose to reveal himself here, but perhaps he would prefer to remain anonymous given his playing tactics. Sufficient to say that, Harry is right, if Mike and Lynn happen to be absent from the morning game, then much of the colour is lost!
This is good news, quaternary twins are rare, and I for one am glad it’s not me. I am a super nit at the table, sorta…just sayin
I am not sure who Mike is, but Lynn and her hubby John are very good friends of mine. Just sayin, there is no one like Lynn at the table. She makes me laugh. One of a kind for sure.
Well hello all, I must say that I am beginning to feel a tiny bit famous after learning that a “Legitimate” poker move has been named after me and so, the secret is out … Mike here and loving the atmosphere here at Replay, I have been here since 2016 and really enjoy the community and the MTT tourneys, the term " A Mike " has come about because I sometimes make a habit of showing even after a solid bluff it is part of a strategy of mine, show that I bluff and when I have a “Nuts” hand …in come the chips.… doesn’t always work but great when it does. A slight correction to what has been posted here about that, Peekisapup was credited with naming that move however it was actually scubapro22 who came up with that and used it the very first time, have fun and enjoy it here folks that’s what its all about… having fun
Definitely my girlfriend!
When we play poker together on two PCs next to each other.
Sometimes she makes a few careless mistakes in Omaha hi/lo and then wonders why the chips go everywhere but to her.
I can’t take a trick! Hey man this is poker. Ohh ok no wonder.
We all take it in turns being the best and funniest at our table
My Dad was definitely the funniest when it came to playing poker. He was a carpenter and built his own poker table and would host poker parties at our house for family and friends. The next morning he would give us a play by play on the events of the night and how he roped in the money!!
