When it comes to poker on this site, I prefer MTTs because they give me a chance to compete against a wide range of players with different skill levels. Whether they’re beginners, high-risk, or low-risk players, each game is an opportunity to learn. You improve your own game by analyzing how others play based on their styles and strategies.
MTT are the best!! on sit and go tables alot of random stuff happens
MTT puts me up against mostly better rated players if I get to the final table. Its a great way to see where I am at with my game. Winning there is most rewarding!
As long as people does not shove in at every turn, MTT is better than SNG or Ring game. It gives your perspective of how your game style is and use more skilled mind. Someone thinks poker is a gamble, but I think it is more strategic and skills.
Win or lose, I try every style of play for life long learning of game strategy.
I like the ring games best. They don’t tie a player up for as long, especially when you only have a certain amount of time to play.
I prefer ring games because you can just pop in or out whenever you choose and it’s not on a set schedule so I prefer the ring game

Ring games initially! New to the game in every way and got a big rush instantly . The March Mayhem sprint ,when I could connect(satellite and lots of bad weather), changed my mind. Not much "Bingo"going on there.Learnt heaps.

i would only play SNG or ring games if my time was limited … I play MTTs because i have time and like the set amount of loss vs the high yield of reward. I came here with a community that does MTTs and play mostly private games
I would choose ring games because they offer more flexibility. Unlike tournaments, where you have to commit for a set duration, ring games allow me to jump in and out whenever I want. This suits my schedule and lets me play at my own pace. Additionally, I find ring games less stressful since I can control how much I bet and can leave when I’m ahead. It feels more casual and relaxed compared to the competitive intensity of tournaments
I prefer SnGs as they have less variance than MTTs and allow you to demonstrate your edge more in heads-up scenarios
I like a bit of both styles MTT, ring games or a SnG. It all depends on the time I have available. Short on time, I am not going to play a MTT.

Playing tournaments is the best way to learn good poker . Also you earn way more chips in way less time(most of the times)
I like PKO and Marathon MTT’s, however, I prefer ring games because I don’t like how the blinds keep going up in tournaments, at the final table there’s not much room to play poker anymore, you either fold or all-in.
And of course in ring games it’s nice that you can start playing and leave whenever you want.
